Understanding the Bible

I have such a hard time understanding the Bible. How do you understand the bible?

I want to unsubscribe, I am unable to find where to do that. Thanks, Jan jssprik@yahoo.com

Not exactly a question - but - I was listening this morning to the podcast with Karin Wilkinson and found it troubling because she said and you agreed that most Christians do not want to be aware of what is happening. I do not believe that is true. I grew up as a Catholic - we learned NOTHING of the bible. I have gone to 2 different non-denominational churches and although teach more of the bible than the Catholic church, I have never heard any message regarding the ending times or anything of the subjects you bring up. If I didn't listen to your podcasts, I wouldn't know half of the things that I learned, so kudos to you.

I have always wondered about the passages in the Bible that talk about Holy Ground like the burning bush. God said to remove the sandals. Now I wonder if it’s not that the sandals were dirty but God wanted Moses bare foot to receive a certain power or energy that was being emitted. There is a movement about grounding and being barefoot to receive earth energy. What if there us a Heavenly energy Moses was receiving by being barefoot?

Hi I have been pondering Matthew 22, 14 many are called but few are chosen , I’ve tried to dig deep myself , and the conclusion I have come to, is that it’s talking about the Jewish nation perhaps in revelation where God from the beginning has called Israel to himself but 144 thorns will be chosen (to bring those who answer to Christ ! Or something along those lines , I know what I mean but can’t explain myself very well! Please help ??😂😂

Apostles twelve thrones

“Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore? And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭19‬:‭27‬-‭28‬ ‭KJV‬‬ My wife brought up something interesting. Is it possible each apostle comes from each of the tribe. Is it somewhere in the Bible that’s talks about this? For example… Is Peter from the Tribe of Judah, and he would be judging his Tribe/People and John is from the Tribe of Levi and he will judge his Tribe/People. Hopefully you understood what I am asking.
