“Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore? And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.” Matthew 19:27-28 KJV My wife brought up something interesting. Is it possible each apostle comes from each of the tribe. Is it somewhere in the Bible that’s talks about this? For example… Is Peter from the Tribe of Judah, and he would be judging his Tribe/People and John is from the Tribe of Levi and he will judge his Tribe/People. Hopefully you understood what I am asking.
Hi Pastor, You might have already discussed this, but have you examined the group of people called the “Horims” in Deuteronomy? They are also called the “Horites” in the book of Genesis. The Hebrew word ḥōrî (H2752) is used for both Horim and Horite, and it translates to “cave-dweller” and “troglodyte” according to Strong’s lexicon. Genesis 36:20 describes the Horims as the “sons of Seir the Horite”, Seir (H8165) in Hebrew meaning hairy or shaggy. Deuteronomy 2:12 says they existed “beforetime” meaning they were prehistoric people who lived before Adam, and the verse also says they were destroyed by God. But, just like the Nephilim who continued to exist after the great flood, the Horims persisted after the big cataclysm. They were later driven away from Mount Seir by the children of Esau in Deuteronomy. Since the words “prehistoric, hairy, cave-dwelling troglodytes” describe the Horims/Horites, I think they are the Neanderthalic/Homo-erectus people who evolutionists believe we evolved from. They must have been pretty evil if they were destroyed by God, and if they existed on earth before the events of Genesis 1:1, it means they were the citizens of Satan’s earthly kingdom after he fell from heaven. What do you think?
